A Cypriot traditional homemade recipe made of fresh fruits and occasionally vegetables, stewed down with sugar to a desire consistency with NO preservatives or coloring.

Offering them to guests is a sign of “sweet” hospitality. True to their name, spoon sweets are served on spoons and accompanied by a tall glass of cold water. They can also be used as ice-cream toppings, mixed with yogurt or even spread as jams over toasts.
